The THREE primary requirements for FULL membership (with voting rights) are

• YOU MUST BE A MEMBER of a CATZ Inc. affiliated club.

• YOU MUST REGISTER at least ONE cat with CATZ Inc, or be the owner of a cat registered with CATZ Inc.

• YOU MUST pay an annual Membership Fee.
  Note: You can fulfill all these requirements at the same time by completing the appropriate forms.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES: Membership Categories include

• FULL ORDINARY MEMBERS shall: Be adults, 18 years and over. Reside in New Zealand. Be a member of a CATZ Inc. affiliated Club. Own, or be joint owner of a CATZ Inc. registered cat. Entitled to Official Publication. May Vote.

• ASSOCIATE MEMBERS shall: Be adults, 18 years and over. Be interested in cats. Entitled to Official Publication. Entitled to speak at General Meetings. May NOT vote. May register Neuter or Spay Household Pets.

• JUNIOR MEMBERS shall: Be under 18 years of age. Be interested in cats. Entitled to Official Publication. Entitled to speak at General Meetings. May NOT vote. May register Neuter or Spay Household Pets.

• HONORARY MEMBERS shall: Be nominated and seconded by Full Ordinary members, and approved by the Board. Be exempt from all Membership subscriptions. Entitled to Official Publication. Entitled to speak at General Meetings. May NOT vote.

• LIFE MEMBERS shall: Be nominated in writing and approved by the Board. Be exempt from all Membership subscriptions. Entitled to ALL benefits of FULL ORDINARY Members.

• AFFILIATE MEMBERS shall: Be CLUBS only, who are registered pursuant to the provisions of the Incorporated Societies Act, having similar objects to those of CATZ Inc and have been accepted by the Board as an affiliate member club of CATZ Inc.
